There are too few colors of road striping.  Make a new list with more stripe colors and what they should mean.

Canary Yellow: passing allowed

Bright Yellow: no passing allowed

Why stop at colors? There should be also new painted symbols:

Heart (pink): Road rage prohibited
Star (gold with glitter): Celebrities only
Gear symbol (camouflage): Four-wheel drive only, can be used on unpaved roads as well
Banana (bright yellow): Slippery road

I'm assuming that the stripes will be made of those symbols, correct?

Other possibilities:

Mushroom (red and white):  high speed road
Handgun (black with red droplets):  school zone [remember the thread topic]
Dollar sign (green):  Pennsylvania Turnpike
Snowflake (white):  drivers from the South prohibited

Of course, mixing colors would be garish.
