On a random day every month, cargo aircraft are required to perform landings on every 5 miles of curved interstate, since runways rarely have curves, and the pilots need the practice.

While the repeal of the NMSL mostly left interstate speed limits up to the states, four-lane interstates are still required to set the speed limit for trucks in the left lane at just barely above however fast the trucks in the right lane are going.
