There are too few colors of road striping.  Make a new list with more stripe colors and what they should mean.

Canary Yellow: passing allowed

Bright Yellow: no passing allowed

Why stop at colors? There should be also new painted symbols:

Heart (pink): Road rage prohibited
Star (gold with glitter): Celebrities only
Gear symbol (camouflage): Four-wheel drive only, can be used on unpaved roads as well
Banana (bright yellow): Slippery road

I'm assuming that the stripes will be made of those symbols, correct?

Other possibilities:

Mushroom (red and white):  high speed road
Handgun (black with red droplets):  school zone [remember the thread topic]
Dollar sign (green):  Pennsylvania Turnpike
Snowflake (white):  drivers from the South prohibited

Of course, mixing colors would be garish.

School zones should be striped with the colors of the school's sports teams to promote local pride.

I-10 in Texas.  A toll booth should be added at MM 154.  For literally no reason at all.

I believe this is a reference to an initiation ritual at the Alanland National Aeronautical Law Service (ANALS).  Cadets who are about to graduate from the POST Academy are basted in a sugary glaze by their instructors prior to being pinned.

You're clearly looking for a freeway with very COLD lanes, such as Route 29 in northern Finland or a theoretical NWT-402 to the gulags in Souky

The abandoned PA 23 freeway out of Lancaster.  The livestock that utilize it should not be allowed to be free range.

I-180 in Illinois. The tolls could be used to fund construction of the Hypotenuse.
