County Road 77 extends north from Pinellas County Road 611 (E Lake Road) along Seven Springs Boulevard to the Trinity community in southwestern Pasco County. CR 77 heads 0.51 miles north from the county line to Mitchell Boulevard.

Seven Springs Boulevard was realigned to meet Mitchell Boulevard at a 90 degree angle, with CR 77 turning through the signalized intersection. The remaining 9.32 miles of CR 77 follows a combination of Seven Springs Road north to SR 54 in Elfers, Rowan Road north from SR 54 to eastern reaches of New Port Richey and CR 524 (Ridge Road), and Regency Park Boulevard to Jasmine Estates and U.S. 19 south of Bayonet Point.
