Clay County Road 218

Measuring 20.36 miles in length, the Clay County branch of County Road 218 connects Middleburg with State Road 16 in the town of Penney Farms to the south and U.S. 301 at Hugh to the northwest. CR 218 represents a commercial route across Middleburg, with a short four lane section intersecting SR 21 (Blanding Boulevard). The remainder of the route is mostly rural, including a one mile stretch across Jennings Forest Wildlife Management Area.

CR 218 meets Cathedral Oak Parkway (CR 216) at a roundabout constructed in 2025. The arterial route east to CR 315 opened to traffic on August 9, 2025 (Clay County, Florida, 2025).
