Clay County Road 739 lines Henley Road north 4.58 miles from CR 218 through the unincorporated community of Asbury Lake to CR 220 between Middleburg and Doctors Inlet. Henley Road extends another 1.36 miles from CR 220 to SR 21 (Blanding Boulevard) at CR 220A. A shield references CR 739 as continuing north along the arterial through the Mayfield community, but Henley Road north of CR 220 is not inventoried by FDOT GIS as a county road.

Historically CR 739 only extended north from CR 218 to a T-intersection with CR 209 (Russell Road). CR 739 replaced CR 209 north to CR 220 by 1978. The original intersection joining CR 739 and CR 209 was located along what is now Rio Blanca Trace. Russell Road was realigned into a T-intersection with a seamless Henley Road as part of 2011/12 construction.
