County Road 655
There are two branches of Polk County Road 655. Located just west of Winter Haven, the southern leg travels 5.70 miles north from SR 60 along Rifle Range Road and Snively Avenue to U.S. 17. This section formerly extended 1.18 miles northwest along Lake Shipp Drive to SR 620.
The northern section of County Road 655 lines Berkley Road 2.17 miles north from SR 559 and SR 559A (C. Fred Jones Boulevard) in northern Auburndale to SR 33 in Polk City. Prior to 2020, CR 655 followed all of Berkley Road for 8.73 miles south to U.S. 92. State Road 655 is Recker Highway southeast from U.S. 92 in Auburndale to SR 620 at Avenue O SW in Winter Haven.
Rifle Range Road - North
CR 655 reassurance marker posted north of Eagle Lake Loop Road and Wahneta. Eagle Lake Loop Road east becomes part of CR 540A beyond Eloise Loop Road.
