County Road F62 stretches across Iowa, Johnson and Muscatine Counties in southeastern Iowa. The rural route originates along 305th Street at County Road W18 (S Avenue) on the Fillmore / Greene township line. The route dog legs north alongside County Road W38 on the Johnson County line to 500th Street east to Williamstown and Sharon Center. Another turn drops the county highway south one half mile along Kansas Avenue to 500th Street east.
500th Street spans the Avenue of the Saints freeway (U.S. 218/Iowa 27) ahead of an implied overlap with County Road W64 (Vine Avenue / former U.S. 218) south into the city of Hills. Main Street leads CR F62 through Hills to 520th Street across the Iowa River into Pleasant Valley and Lincoln townships.
The easternmost portion of County Road F62 takes the route along 130th Street to Davis Avenue in Muscatine County. Davis Avenue (CR X34) leads CR F62 north to 121st Street east. The county highway ends as Prairie Street in the city of West Liberty.
