Interstate 29 bee lines south through Argo township to come together with SD 30 at Exit 140 in Afton township. 06/17/15
SD 30 travels just 17.08 miles east from parallel Brookings County 77 (old U.S. 77) to MN 19. The rural city of White lies 5.5 miles to the east of the diamond interchange (Exit 140) with I-29. County Road 6 (204th Street) extends west five miles from the state highway end to CR 7 (466th Avenue) outside the city of Bruce. 06/17/15

Auxiliary lanes accompany both directions of Interstate 29 between the two Brookings interchanges. U.S. 14 roams 437 miles across the state from west of Spearfish to east of Elkton. Huron is a 75 mile drive to the west of Brookings via U.S. 14. U.S. 14 east stays rural for the remaining drive to Minnesota. The US route passes between the towns of Aurora and Bushnell and north of the city of Elkton near the state line. 06/17/15

An 8.68 mile route, SD 324 stems east from Exit 127 to SD 13. SD 13 links the east end with the city of Elkton.
West from Exit 127, County Road 24 connects I-29 with old U.S. 77 (CR 77). The rural town of Sinai is located 15 miles to the west via CR 77 north and CR 12 west. 06/17/15

SD 32 begins at the forthcoming Exit 114 with Interstate 29. The state highway totals just 8.67 miles east to SD 13 within the Moody County seat of Flandreau. 06/17/15
