Interstate 55 South - St. Louis

2016/17 construction rebuilt the ramp system joining the west end of the Poplar Street Bridge with Interstate 44. Work added a second lane for the continuation of Interstate 55 southbound.

The ramp along the continuation of Interstate 55 at I-44 previously included a height restriction of 14 foot 6 inches for the Missouri Pacific Railroad bridge. The clearance was subsequently improved to 15 foot 4 inches.
