Interstate 90 passes through Erie County in northwestern Pennsylvania along a 46.2 mile course. Paralleling U.S. 20 and Multi State Route 5 to the south, I-90 enters the Keystone State at West Springfield and departs for New York near State Line. Passing south of Erie, the rural freeway connects with I-79, U.S. 19 and three state routes to the city. I-86 branches east from I-90 at Exit 37 to Jamestown and the Southern Tier of New York.
