Business Loop I-90 - Hardin

Business Loop I-90 constitutes a 2.67 mile long route south and west from I-90/U.S. 87-212 into the city of Hardin. The loop overlaps with Montana Highway 47 for 1.27 miles south from Exit 495 along a combination of Crawford Avenue, 14th Street W and Center Avenue. MT 47 ends at the intersection of Center Avenue and 3rd Street. 3rd Street west from Center Avenue to Downtown Hardin is S-313, which is also Old U.S. 87/212.
Paralleling the BNSF Railroad, Business Loop I-90 follows 3rd Street E (Old U.S. 87/212) northeast back to Interstate 90 at Exit 497. Old U.S. 87/212 branches east from the business route along S-384 just prior to the exchange.
Historically Mitchell Avenue southwest from Crawford Avenue to S-313 (3rd Street) was the former alignment of MT 47.
MT 47 runs south along the Hardin city line to the diamond interchange (Exit 495) along I-90/U.S. 87-212 where Business Loop I-90 east begins.
