Exit 19 to Eddy Street leaves Interstate 95 just beyond the split with U.S. 6 east to I-195 east. Eddy Street branches southwest from U.S. 1A (Allens Avenue) to adjacent Rhode Island Hospital and a parallel alignment to I-95 south to Lower South Providence. 10/06/14
The original Eddy Street off-ramp was abandoned due to the Iway project. A right lane ends sign now takes the place of the Exit 19 overhead with the ramps from I-195 west to Eddy Street and I-95 south looming in the distance. 04/21/11
U.S. 1A exits the Jewelry District via Eddy Street south to Allens Avenue and parallels Interstate 95 south to Thurbers Avenue and Exit 18. 07/28/07
Thurbers Avenue connects Interstate 95 west to Route 117 (Broad Avenue) and east to U.S. 1A (Allens Avenue) north and south. 07/28/07

Byfield Street and Detroit Avenue line the southbound side of Interstate 95 as the freeway drops below grade on the one mile approach to Exit 17 with U.S. 1 (Elmwood Avenue). 07/28/07
Exit 17 consists of a lone ramp from Interstate 95 south onto U.S. 1 (Elmwood Avenue) at Roger Williams Avenue in south Providence. U.S. 1 travels north to Elmwood and south to Roger Williams Park, Cranston and Norwood. Route 10 provides the absent movements to Elmwood Avenue via an interchange just east of Interstate 95 (Exit 16). 07/28/07
Interstate 95 partitions with the Exit 17 off-ramp to U.S. 1, one half mile north of a directional cloverleaf interchange with Route 10 (Huntington Expressway). 07/28/07
R.I. 10 south concludes 0.75 miles south of Exit 16 at Route 12 (Park Avenue) near Auburn and Roger Williams Park. 07/28/07
Northward, Route 10 (Huntington Expressway) next interchanges with Route 2 (Reservoir Avenue) near the Cranston city center and Mashapaug Pond. R.I. 2 begins from U.S. 1 (Elmwood Avenue) in Providence and meets Interstate 95 directly at Exit 8. 07/28/07
A collector distributor roadway departs the Interstate 95 southbound mainline for Exit 10 to Route 10. 07/28/07
Route 10 north constitutes the inner belt freeway of Providence to Olneyville where it merges with U.S. 6 east and Interstate 95 at downtown (Exit 22). 07/28/07
A loop ramp joins Route 10 southbound ahead of the off-ramp to U.S. 1 (Elmwood Avenue). The freeway concludes at Park Avenue, but was proposed for a six mile extension south to Oakland Beach in 1959. 07/28/07
The first of four Warwick exits along Interstate 95 is the parclo interchange with Jefferson Boulevard (Exit 15) in one mile. 07/28/07
Immediately south of Jefferson Boulevard is the directional cloverleaf interchange with Route 37, a 3.47 mile freeway linking I-95 with parallel Route 2 (New London Avenue) and U.S. 1 (Post Road). 07/28/07
Jefferson Boulevard leads south from an industrial area at Exit 15 to Route 113 (Main Avenue) at Greenwood. 07/28/07
Route 37 north (Exit 14B) serves a number of points of interest including the John O. Pastore Center, the Rhode Island National Guard and the Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency. 07/28/07
Southbound at the Exit 15 ramp departure to Jefferson Boulevard and Hillsgrove. 07/28/07
Route 37 south ends at a trumpet interchange with U.S. 1 (Post Road) midway between Lincoln Park and Norwood. 07/28/07
A fifth southbound lane gained from the Jefferson Boulevard on-ramp quickly departs for Exits 14B/A to Route 37. Route 37 ends westward at Natick Avenue, just beyond its cloverleaf interchange with Interstate 295 in Cranston. 07/28/07
Exit 14 veers away from the Interstate 95 mainline and partitions into separate ramps for Route 37. Route 37 was considered for possible inclusion in cancelled proposals for both Interstate 84 east from Connecticut and Interstate 895, the eastern bypass of Providence. 07/28/07
Interstate 95 continues alongside the Pawtuxet River, which separates Kent and Providence County, to the Exit 13 trumpet interchange with the Airport Connector. 07/28/07
Service Avenue passes over Interstate 95 south, one half mile north of Exit 13. The Airport Connector leads east to Jefferson Boulevard and U.S. 1 (Post Road) in east Warwick. 07/28/07
T.F. Green Airport (PVD) lies just east of U.S. 1 (Post Road) and Hillsgrove. The Airport Connector comprises a full freeway to the Bruce Sundlun Terminal. 07/28/07
Interstate 95 southbound at the Exit 13 off-ramp to the Airport Connector and U.S. 1. U.S. 1 and Interstate 95 part ways south of Warwick and do not meet again until Groton, Connecticut. 07/28/07
Next in line for southbound travelers is the three-quarter cloverleaf interchange (Exits 13B/A) with Route 113 (East Avenue) and merge with Interstate 295's southern terminus. 07/28/07
Route 113 consists of a 3.4 mile route between Route 2 (Bald Hill Road) at East Natick to U.S. 1 (Post Road) at Greenwood. 07/28/07
Rhode Island and Warwick Malls lie just west of the interchange complex between Interstate 95, Route 113 (East Avenue) and its parclo interchange with Interstate 295. Interstate 295 north provides a direct ramp (Exit 2) to the Warwick Mall while East Avenue meets Rhode Island Mall directly. 07/28/07
Exit 12A comprises a loop ramp onto Route 113 east to Route 5 (Greenwich Avenue). R.I. 5 ventures south to Apponaug, where it ends at U.S. 1, and north to conclude its 26 mile path at North Smithfield. 07/28/07
Exit 12B partitions into separate ramps for Interstate 295 north and Route 113 west to Route 2 (Bald Hill Road). Interstate 295 wraps around the Providence area along a 26.6 mile course to Woonsocket and Attleboro, Massachusetts. R.I. 2 proceeds south to meet I-95 directly at Exit 8 ahead of East Greenwich. 07/28/07
Interstate 95 continues with eight overall lanes below the East Avenue overpasses as Exit 12A joins Route 113 east to Main Avenue. 07/28/07
Beyond the merge with Interstate 295, the freeway approaches the six-ramp parclo interchange with Route 117 (Centerville Road). 07/28/07
