Interstate 470 wraps around the southeastern side of Kansas City from the Three Trails Crossing Memorial Highway with I-49/U.S. 71 and I-435/U.S. 50 to Missouri Route 291 leading north from I-70 in the city of Independence. The commuter freeway serves Unity Village and the city of Lee's Summit along its 17.081 mile course.
