Highway 433

LA 433 is a circuitous route in the Slidell area, navigating 14.84 miles southeast from U.S. 190 at Colt to U.S. 90 at The Rigolets. The western half of the highway loops south to Bonfouca and Liberty Bayou and east along Bayou Liberty Road to U.S. 11 (Front Street) within the city of Slidell.
Beyond the four block overlap with U.S. 11, LA 433 extends southeast along Old Spanish Trail to a commercialized interchange with Interstate 10. Old Spanish Trail turns southward along Fritchz Marsh to Treasure Island along Lake Pontchartrain.
Historically, LA 433 southeast from U.S. 11 in Slidell was part of LA 2 and U.S. 90. This changed with completion of the bridge and causeway system taking U.S. 90 east from The Rigolets to Pearlington, Mississippi.

LA 433 commences northwest from U.S. 90 near the Rigolets Bridge to New Orleans. The two routes formerly connected at a two-wye intersection.
