North Carolina Highway 58

NC 58 is a 177.51 mile long route originating at Fort Macon State Park on the east end of the Bogue Banks. The state route straddles the Atlantic coast along the barrier island west from Atlantic Beach to Indian Beach, Emerald Isle and other beaches.

The remainder of NC 58 follows a northerly course, initially across Bogue Sound to NC 24 at Cape Carteret, then through Croatan National Forest to U.S. 17 Business at Maysville.

NC 58 shifts westward from an overlap with U.S. 17 at Pollocksville to Kinston. Through Kinston, NC 58 overlaps with portions of U.S. 70, U.S. 70 Business and U.S. 258. The state route advances north from the city to the Greene County seat of Snow Hill.

Continuing north, NC 58 passes through Wilson and the Nash County seat of Nashville. The state route follows a rural course beyond U.S. 64/Future I-87 to Centerville in Franklin County and Inez in Warren County. NC 58 concludes at NC 43 in Liberia.
