N.C. 115 originates in Charlotte and parallels I-77 north to Mooresville and Statesville. The two routes diverge north from I-40, with N.C. 115 continuing to North Wilkesboro. The 71-mile long route begins at U.S. 21 and ends at U.S. 421 Business, N.C. 18 and N.C. 268.
