NY 19A parallels the river south to Fillmore while NY 436 resumes an eastward course to NY 70 and NY 408 in the village of Nunda. NY 436 traverses farm and timberland east across the towns of Nunda and Ossian 13.77 miles to Ossian Street and NY 36 (Dock Street) in Dansville.
