State Route 237

Ohio State Route 237

SR 237 runs 13.83 miles north from SR 82 in the city of Strongsville to U.S. 6/20 (Clifton Boulevard) in the city of Lakewood. Located wholly within Cuyahoga County, the state route connects the city of Berea with Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) and the Kamms Corners and Riverside neighborhoods in west Cleveland. SR 237 also lines the southern portion of the Berea Freeway, which joins CLE Airport with Interstate 71.

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) was the first municipally-owned airport in the country when it opened in 1925. It was later named after William R. Hopkins, who was the city manager of Cleveland that orchestrated the bonding and construction on the airport.
