U.S. 6
The Detroit-Superior Veterans Memorial Bridge takes U.S. 6/20/42 over the Cuyahoga River from Detroit Avenue at W 25th Street in Ohio City to Superior Avenue at W 9th Street and Huron Road in Downtown Cleveland. The 2,656 foot long steel arch bridge was built in 1917.1 08/10/06 by Justin Cozart, 09/30/10

U.S. 6 crosses the state of Ohio east from the Indiana state line near Edgerton to northwestern Pennsylvania from Ashtabula County. U.S. 6 passes south of Toledo from Bryan east to Napoleon, Bowling Green and Fremont. Shifting north of the Ohio Turnpike, U.S. 6 continues to Sandusky and along the Lake Erie to Lorain, Avon Lake, and Cleveland.

U.S. 6/20 combine with SR 2 along Cleveland Memorial Shoreway to W 25th Street and the Veterans Memorial Bridge with U.S. 42 leading into Downtown Cleveland. U.S. 6/20 partition at Public Square, where U.S. 322/422 east begin and U.S. 42 north concludes. U.S. 6/20 rejoin along Euclid Avenue from the city of East Cleveland into Euclid.

Entering Lake County, U.S. 6 advances east through Willoughby Hills and Kirtland. U.S. 6 comprises a rural highway across Geauga County to the seat of Chardon and to Andover near Pymatuning Reservoir.
