Following Naamans Creek Road, PA 491 parallels the Delaware border through Booths Corner in Bethel township and Ogden in Upper Chichester township. Delaware State Route 491 (Hickman Road) connects the east end with SR 92 (Naamans Road) near U.S. 13 in Claymont.
