Traveling east beyond NY 39 (Wadsworth Avenue) south and CR 26 (Rochester St) north along U.S. 20/NY 5 (Main Street) ahead of Downtown Avon. A road diet removed the center turn lane in 2009. This shield assembly was gone by 2012.

Leaving the village of Avon at Pole Bridge Road, U.S. 20/NY 5 advance east along Avon East Avon Road. The U.S. 20 shield here was replaced by 2008.

NY 15 (Lakeville Road / East Avon Rochester Road) intersects U.S. 20/NY 5 at East Avon. NY 15 extends 47.28 miles north I-390/NY 21 south of Wayland to Downtown Rochester.

NY 15 follows East Avon Rochester Road north to North Avon and West Henrietta Road in Monroe County. The state route follows Lakeville Road south to I-390 at Exit 9 and Lakeville.

U.S. 20/NY 5 east and NY 414 south at Balsey Road west of Seneca Falls. Balsey Road runs along the north side of Waterloo east from NY 96 (Virginia Street) to NY 414.
