U.S. 30

U.S. 30

U.S. 30 travels 452.10 miles across the width of Nebraska from the Wyoming state line at Pine Bluffs to the Blair Bridge spanning the Missouri River from Blair into Iowa. U.S. 30 parallels the Interstate 80 corridor east from the Equality State to Sidney, Ogallala, North Platte, Lexington and Grand Island. The rest of the highway in the Cornhusker State travels well north of I-80 to Columbus, Fremont and Blair.

Nationally, U.S. 30 runs from U.S. 101 in Astoria, Oregon, east to Atlantic Avenue in Atlantic City, New Jersey. U.S. 30 is the only true transcontinental U.S. route left, as all the others (6, 10, 40, 50, 60, 70 and 80) have been retracted (mostly out of California) and U.S. 20 has a gap through Yellowstone National Park.
