U.S. 34 Business - Ottuma

U.S. 34 Business is one of two bannered routes serving Downtown Ottumwa along with U.S. 63 Business along Wapello Street. U.S. 34 Business branches northeast from a split diamond interchange with the U.S. 34/63 Business expressway by the Bridge View Center. Spanning the Des Moines River across the Jefferson Street Bridge, U.S. 34 Business enters the central business district at Main Street. Main Street leads the 1.8 mile long route east back to U.S. 34/63 at Roemer Avenue.
Church Street parallels U.S. 34 Business (Jefferson Street) north from the exchange with U.S. 34/63 Business along the west side of the Bridge View Center.
