U.S. 151 Business crosses the city of Cedar Rapids from the U.S. 30/218 freeway at Fairfax northeast to the north split of U.S. 151 and Iowa 13 in Marion. The bannered route passes through both Downtown Cedar Rapids, and the Marion business district along its 12.7 mile course. Designated internally as Iowa 922 by the Iowa Department of Transportation, U.S. 151 Business is the lone surface roadway within the Cedar Rapids beltway still maintained by the state. East of Iowa 100 through Marion, U.S. 151 Business along Marion Boulevard, 7th Avenue and 10th Avenue is locally maintained.
