SR 140 is an urban collector spurring west along 14600 South from the single point interchange with I-15/U.S. 89 at Exit 288 to 800 West in the city of Bluffdale. The state route formerly extended 2.559 miles overall, linking I-15 with SR 69 (Redwood Road) via 14600 South and a dog leg along 1690 West and 14400 South. The truncated route is just 0.936 miles in length.
