SR 269 comprises a 1.807 mile collector linking I-15 and I-80 with U.S. 89 (State Street) in Downtown Salt Lake City. The state route follows the one-way couplet of 500 South west and 600 South (Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard) east between State Street and a directional T interchange with the freeway.
