Following Oldhams Road for 7.43 miles, SR 203 originates in Richmond County. The state route connects Threeway, Oldhams and Acorn in southern Westmoreland County. Beyond a 0.60 mile long overlap with SR 202, SR 203 spurs 1.73 miles east along Kinsdale Road past Shingle Hill to SR 608 (White Point Road) in Kinsdale.



SR 617 (Gardy's Mill Road) returns to SR 202 (Cople Highway) north from Hyacinth in Northumberland County.
