The Veterans Expressway originally reduced to two through lanes for SR 60 (Memorial Highway) east to I-275 beyond the off-ramp for Memorial Highway west. 07/03/15
The first guide sign for SR 60 (Courtney Campbell Causeway) on SR 589 south was this assembly posted beyond the Exit 3 gore point. It was replaced by 2011 with a new overhead. 07/03/15
This sign bridge directed traffic to SR 60 west as SR 589 passed over Independence Parkway by Skyway Park. Exit 2A is the final off-ramp for SR 589 south. 12/07/03
The original southbound roadway from SR 589 curved to run directly along side the northbound lanes at the exchange with SR 60 (Courtney Campbell Causeway). Interchange reconstruction shifted the southbound lanes westward. 12/07/03
An end shield was posted at the overpass above the westbound lanes of SR 60 and the eastbound loop ramp for the Veterans Expressway. This overpass was replaced with a flyover. 11/10/07
