Took a couple of additional daytrips taking advantage of the continued lighter traffic across the state of Florida this past week. Took advantage of the lighter traffic these days and drove 1,200 miles over the course of three days to South Florida and Miami. Several major upgrades have been completed in the region and more are currently underway. The Dolphin Expressway is only under construction at the east end, where the elevated roadway leading into the Midtown Interchange with I-95/395 is being rebuilt as part of the overall Interstate 395 [...]
Had planned a roadtrip for New York City and the Upstate for next week, but with the ongoing COVID19 pandemic and associated travel restrictions, curfews, etc, threw that idea out last week. Went to Orlando over the weekend and realized that we never updated the page for Florida State Road 435 (Kirkman Road) south. The arterial joins I-4 with Universal Orlando, and the interchange joining the freeway with SR 435 was rebuilt as part of the I-4 Ultimate project.
