US-55? Good find! Google Street View shows it in 2012 as VA-55, as it should be.
Davenport, IA -> Valparaiso, IN -> Ames, IA -> Orlando, FL -> Gainesville, FL -> Evansville, IN

Dipping back into my archives, probably one of the first county shields in Mercer County with the thicker yellow border:

Nice sine salad, with an error to boot! (I didn't see that error when I passed that intersection on Sunday.)
Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.

This generation of signs didn't last very long (gone by 2012).  There was a second error assembly from the same timeframe:

US 55 signs have been prevalent in Front Royal on more than one occasion over the last 25 years, in addition to Strasburg.

It was either Florida or Washington to get a 542 from my collection.  I've chosen Washington.  This is near Deming.  2/27/2010.

Faded CR 544 sign in Central Florida (unfortunately, FDOT did not color-code the county pentagons):

Found along FL 17 southbound back in January 2012.

Yes, that is one, big, unisign. Sign is new too, but not too new. Alberta changed its shield design recently; this is the older design, but on the flip side, it is Clearview.

That is either an old picture, or an old shield. Alberta stopped using Secondary shields in 2001 (successor is my pic). They're getting hard to find these days.

Are we allowed to use signs that have "future" on them? I found one that has "Future I-555" on it.
