I might not have the time until later today or tomorrow to start to find where Steve's at, but from quick inspection of the photo I would suspect that the answer to "What's Steve's Mood?" when the photo was taken is "pretty sour".

Adventure#1: Now's your chance while I won't have GSV for awhile...

Wait, what's the answer to the last one? LOL. Well, for the last one, I've already scoped out Kansas City, Omaha, Des Moines, Louisville, Indianapolis, and a little bit of Minneapolis/St. Paul and Milwaukee. No luck for me.  :-(

Well, better get started on the new pic.  :-P

I'm still a bit stumped over the last one too.  My immediate thought was somewhere along the OH/IN/IL east-west corridor (urban areas, and not the tollways).  Got any clues for that one?   I also recognize the latest theme: power lines.

Oh both are still valid, the one with the bumper to bumper traffic....

I stood at the crossroads of a large nation, looking east and west, but i saw nothing but tail lights as far as a man could walk before he would fall down at a door.

Aw, danggit, I was so close again (as said earlier I checked the Indianapolis area)

Well, congrats. Also, I didn't see the date of the photo BC Im on my phone, but it must be fairly old, because the pavement doesn't look as bad there as it does in SteveG's picture.

Roadrunner75

I checked there too the first time around, and didn't see it.  The newest photo looks PA Turnpike-like, but the concrete barrier is a little smaller than their typical spec, and the white lane stripes just a bit too short.

It's not Illinois, and not a tollway - the sign for the overpass is wrong.

I'd say somewhere in Indiana. It is not the Borman or anywhere on I-94.  It could be the Toll Road, but I'm betting somewhere nearer Indianapolis.

I'd guess either an Oklahoma Turnpike (one of the older ones - Turner, Cimmaron, Will Rogers, HE Bailey, or Indian Nation), or the Kansas Turnpike.

Not to mention that left shoulder is about 5 times as wide as the PA Turnpike's barely foot-wide left shoulder (in 2 lane sections)!

This one's got me stumped for now.  I'm gonna start with "South" and "West, but not that west"  Maybe Kentucky, or somewhere in the immediate 500 mile vicinity.

You are disqualified from any answers for two photos, i told you not to even respond. Adventure Number 1 did it in chat...so he was out of the running.

Oh, sorry, I thought you said not to respond until other people did, not to not respond at all. My apologies. Yeek, I've been off my rocker the past day  :ded: :banghead:
