As for Salinas, it has to be the "To CA-183" sign on this gantry on northbound US-101.

I found this minuscule mileage sign in the center of DE 141.

These seemingly temporary signs posted for the Delaware 1 interchange along Delaware 273 have been in place so long that they were replaced with Clearview and are meant to be permanent.

This one is gone now, but it was equally small:

How do you define BGS? Does this count?
https://www.google.com/maps/@39.892888,-74.925753,3a,75y,10.98h,86.8t/data=!3m5!1e1!3m3!1skCV7Xc0PqGz_OpDs0WFfDA!2e0!5s20130801T000000

BGS Means "Big Green Sign" (I think)
I know that. But while the signs in my example aren't green, they are overhead signs unlike some of the examples, which I would consider LGSs. If that's not the distinction, than what is?

Not green (colors aren't used the same way here), but very small for being an exit sign.

Blink and you'll miss it. Good Lord that sign is small.

What's with the "NO TOLL THIS WAY" sign?
It just means the toll booth you see ahead isn't for you. I've seen these signs at toll bridges with tolls in just one direction and in places where tolls used to be charged in both directions but aren't anymore. I think New York supplements them with "Do Not Stop".

Not the smallest but the smallest I have a pic of.

I only take pics of good looking signs. Long live non-reflective button copy!

It was replaced in anticipation of our new HOT/express toll lanes on I-405...by basically grafting it onto a large sign:

Until sometime in the last six months, US 52 at NC 66 had a tiny BGS right before the exit, but it's been converted.  This is what it looked like at the last GSV image:

Oh man, that's lazy.  I think the new HOT signs on 405 seem way too big.
Take the road less traveled.
