Continuing through the massive systems interchange joining Loop 101 with I-17 in North Phoenix two miles ahead of Exit 25 to 7th Avenue.

Eastbound Loop 101 at Exit 34 to Scottsdale Road. This major city street actually parallels Loop 101 as the beltway transitions from eastbound to southbound along the inner loop.

Part of a 9-month pilot program in 2006, the first of the three speed camera arrays along Loop 101 southbound lined this stretch of freeway. The cameras were programmed to trigger 11 MPH above the speed limit (United States Department of Transportation, n.d.).
