There are two branches of County Road 532 posted in central Florida. The western section runs along Osceola Polk Road 4.40 miles east from Interstate 4 and Champions Gate Boulevard at Championsgate to U.S. 17/92 near Intercession City. Suburban growth enveloped the western third of the former rural highway, with expansion into a four lane arterial. Completed in Spring 2023, a $13.3 million project addressed increasing traffic congestion at the exchange (Exit 58) with I-4 by rebuilding it into a diverging diamond interchange. Further retail development and the addition of a hospital nearby increases area traffic congestion.

The eastern leg of County Road 532 follows Nova Road for 26.52 miles between U.S. 192/441 at east St. Cloud to SR 520 in southeastern Orange County. Beyond residential areas along Lake Center and Coon Lake, CR 532 traverses areas of Econlockhatchee River Swamp and Fourmile Swamp as it connects the St. Cloud area with Cocoa and the Space Coast.
