CR 276 initially leads south from SR 277 to CR 276A (Clayton Road) and then east along a 9.14 mile branch to CR 273 (Orange Hill Road) near Orange Hill Corners. The middle section lines Alford Road 4.10 miles east to the Jackson County line and Park Avenue 2.45 miles to U.S. 231 in the town of Alford. The Kynesville Road segment branches east from U.S. 231 at Steele City 6.56 miles to Kynesville and CR 167 (Fairview Road) just ahead of the exchange with I-10.
