Florida State Road 273 travels northeast from Chipley to Campbellton. The 14.51 mile long highway initially branches east from SR 77 along Glenwood Avenue in the city of Chipley. Crossing into southern Jackson County, SR 273 meets CR 164 at Richter Crossroads. The remainder of the route traverses timberland and agricultural areas to U.S. 231 within the town of Campbellton.
County Road 273 originates in the city of Chipley from SR 277 east along South Boulevard. The route turns south from Chipley along Orange Hill Road to Orange Hill Corners and Gilberts Mill. The 12.74 mile long spur concludes south of Hard Labor Creek.
