State Road 423 West / South


SR 423 (Lee Road) begins at U.S. 17/92 (Orlando Avenue) in Winter Park and heads west 1.25 miles to Interstate 4. A truck bypass for U.S. 17/92 utilizes Lee Road west to I-4 east and SR 414 (Maitland Boulevard) east. The bypass circumvents a low clearance CSX railroad overpass in Winter Park.

U.S. 441 (Orange Blossom Trail) constitutes a divided, four lane arterial leading northwest from Orlando and Fairview Shores to Lockhart and Apopka. A flyover opened here in September 2013, linking SR 423 north with an extension of John Young Parkway (SR 434) north to Forest City Road.

SR 438 (Princeton Street) travels east from John Young Parkway to Rio Grande Avenue in the College Park neighborhood of Orlando. The state road arcs west and north to overtake Silver Star Road from SR 416 to Pine Hills and Ocoee.

Approaching SR 50 (West Colonial Drive) on SR 423 south. Colonial Drive is a major east-west arterial across the city of Orlando. The four to six lane boulevard joins the north side of Downtown with Pine Hills to the west and Union Park to the east.

SR 50 travels across the width of Orange County, connecting Oakland, Winter Garden and Ocoee to the west with University Park, Bithlo and Christmas to the east. The state road overall spans the Florida peninsula from Weeki Wachee (U.S. 19) to Titusville (U.S. 1).
