NorthNorth of the systems interchange (Exit 33) with I-215/CC-215, the first of two ramps depart I-15 north for Frank Sinatra Drive north and Tropicana Avenue at Exit 35 for Russell Road.

Traffic joins I-15 from I-215 and Las Vegas Boulevard ahead of the overpass for Sunset Road. Sunset Road lines the south boundary of Harry Reid (former McCarran) International Airport (LAS).

I-15 advances north between Allegiant Stadium and Mandalay Bay at the south end of the Las Vegas Strip. Mandalay Bay represents the southernmost casino resort along the Strip while Allegiant Stadium is home to the Las Vegas Raiders NFL team.

A Union Pacific rail line spans Interstate 15 ahead of Exit 36 for Tropicana Avenue. The spur originates from Boulder City and connects to the main line a half mile west of the freeway.

Tropicana Avenue heads east from Exit 36 to the south Las Vegas Strip and west to Spring Valley.
Tropicana Avenue doubles as SR 593 through the upcoming exchange, following the arterial between Dean Martin Drive and Las Vegas Boulevard. A separate section of SR 593 lines Tropicana Avenue through Henderson.

The local express lanes allow for a bypass of the ingress/egress points along I-15 north for the next four miles. The lanes tie into the northbound mainline ahead of Sahara Avenue / Exit 40.

I-15 north passes between the Mandalay Bay casino resort and Allegient Stadium. The Las Vegas Raiders Stadium occupies nearly 62 acres between Russell Road and Hacienda Avenue. The venue opened for the 2020-21 NFL season.

A slip ramp connects to Interstate 15 north beyond Hacienda Avenue from the c/d roadway (Exit 36) leading to Tropicana Avenue.

Hacienda Avenue arcs over Interstate 15 and the frontage road system 1.25 miles ahead of Exit 38 to Flamingo Road. Exit 40 to Sahara Avenue represents the north end of the Las Vegas Strip in 3.5 miles.

Tropicana Avenue (SR 593) leads east between the Excalibur and New York-New York casino resorts to Las Vegas Boulevard. Frank Sinatra Drive connects to nearby T-Mobile Arena (home of the NHL Vegas Golden Knights) and back entrances to the Park MGM casino resort and City Center casino complex.

Construction on the Tropicana Interchange Project between 2022 and Fall 2025 rebuilt the diamomd interchange joining I-15/SR 593. Work widened Tropicana Boulevard, realigned Dean Martin Drive westward and built new bridges.

Harmon Avenue connects the HOV Lane with the City Center complex, which includes the Aria, Vdara, and Cosmopolitan casino resorts. The arterial continues east of Las Vegas Boulevard to the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) campus.

Interstate 15 runs between the Aria resort and casino and Panorama Towers ahead of Exit 38 for Flamingo Road. Exit 39 to Spring Mountain Road connects the freeway to the central resort corridor.

The half diamond interchange joining the HOV Lanes with Harmon Avenue were built as part of the $305 million I-15 Tropicana Interchange Project. The exit opened to traffic on January 26, 2024 (Akers, 2024).

Flamingo Road meets I-15 at a parclo interchange (Exit 38) near the Bellagio and Caesars Palace hotel and casino resorts. SR 592 overlays Flamingo Road west to Rainbow Boulevard in Spring Valley and east from Paradise Road to Boulder Highway.

The HOV exit for I-11/U.S. 95 north departs ahead of the Spaghetti Bowl interchange joining I-15 with I-11 and U.S. 93/95 (Oran K. Gragson Freeway). 54.19 miles in length, I-11 joins northwestern Las Vegas with Henderson and Boulder City to the southeast.

Exit 42 A departs for I-11/U.S. 95 north (Oran K. Gragson Freeway) and nearby Martin Luther King Boulevard. MLK Boulevard leads into the West Las Vegas neighborhood while I-11/U.S. 95 travel through northwestern reaches of the Las Vegas Valley area.

Beyond Las Vegas, U.S. 95 travels northwest to Tonopah and Fallon, with connections to Reno via U.S. 50 and U.S. 50 Alternate.

Exit 42 B leaves for I-11/U.S. 93-95 south to Henderson and Boulder City. I-515 formerly extended 14.444 miles2 south along the Oran K. Gragson Freeway to the Henderson Bowl interchange at I-215/SR 564. U.S. 93 joins Las Vegas with Phoenix, Arizona (via U.S. 60), 303 miles to the southeast.
