Business Loop I-40 through Winslow was a 3.64 mile long route south from I-40/U.S. 180 through the Winslow city center. 3.16 miles of the route, from Hipkoe Drive in west Winslow to SR 87/99 (Williamson Avenue) in Downtown, was turned over to city maintenance in 2007. Despite the change, Business Loop I-40 remains signed as of 2021 in both directions of I-40 at Exit 252 and 255.
SR 99 overlaps with I-40/U.S. 180 east from Leupp Corner to Hipkoe Drive at Exit 252. The state route overlapped with Business Loop I-40 to SR 87, which it joins southward for 1.45 miles.
SR 87 accompanied Business Loop I-40 along the couplet of 2nd Street east and 3rd Street west to Transcon Lane, where the business route rejoined I-40/U.S. 180. State maintenance commences east along Historic U.S. 66, taking SR 87 to I-40/U.S. 180 at Exit 257.
