Interstate 77

Interstate 77 travels through eastern reaches of Ohio from the West Virginia state line at Marietta northward to Cleveland. The rural route crosses I-70 at Cambridge and U.S. 250 at New Philadelphia. Becoming more urban, I-77 joins Canton with Akron, where it also overlaps with I-76. Northern reaches of I-77 runs through Broadview Heights, Independence and Seven Hills in the Cuyahoga County suburbs. I-77 concludes at I-90 (Innerbelt Freeway) just southeast of Downtown Cleveland.

Interstate 77 replaced U.S. 21 from West Virginia northward to Cleveland. Portions of old U.S. 21 remain state maintained as SR 21, SR 821 and County Road 21, including a shared alignment from Montrose to Richfield in Summit County. Other
