Interstate 277

Interstate 277 constitutes a 3.91 mile long connector across the south side of Akron. Overlapping with U.S. 224, I-277 extends east from I-76 at the Kenmore section of the city to I-77 south of Firestone Park. The freeway also runs across northern reaches of Portage Lakes near Firestone Metro Park. U.S. 224 continues east along a short freeway by Akron Fulton International Airport and west along side I-76 to Wadworth and I-71 at Seville.
