U.S. 224
U.S. 224 stretches across the state of Ohio from the Indiana state line west of Van Wert into Pennsylvania east of Poland. The majority of the route is rural, with the exception from I-71 in Medina County east into the city of Akron and village of Mogadore. U.S. 224 overlaps with I-76 and I-277 along this stretch.
Through western Ohio, U.S. 224 joins the County seats of Van Wert with Ottawa, Findlay and Tiffin. U.S. 224 runs east to Willard, Greenwich and Lodi, where it expands to four lanes. East from Mogadore, U.S. 224 is a local route south of I-76 to Canfield.

U.S. 224/SR 12 overlap for 1.10 miles in Findlay from SR 37 (Main Street) north of Downtown east to Fostoria Avenue.
