Route 92
Missouri Route 92 travels 39.38 miles from U.S. 69 at Excelsior Springs to Smithville, Platte City and the Missouri River bridge to Leavenworth, Kansas. K-92 extends the route west another 42 miles from Leavenworth to Oskaloosa and K-4 near Rock Creek.
West
Missouri 92 (Branch Street) intersects Prairie View Road (old U.S. 71) north and Running Horse Road south in Platte City. An array of eateries and other businesses line the two roads as they run just west of Interstate 29 & U.S. 71.

A second section of Prairie View Road branches north from Missouri 92 (Branch Street) as the route turns west toward the Platte City center. A number of changes were made through Platte City, with Prairie View Road (old U.S. 71) realigned into separate segments while a new southbound ramp for I-29 was added from south of Main Street.
