Nebraska Highway 19 extends 10.90 miles north from Colorado State Highway 113 to U.S. 30 at Sidney in Cheyenne County. Paralleling BNSF Railroad line, N-19 heads north across Peetz Table to the census designated place of Lorenzo to Road 19A. Turning north, N-19 converges with Interstate 80 at Exit 55 and concludes at U.S. 30, 1.75 miles west of the Sidney city limits.

Historically N-19 continued east along Road 19A past Sidney Municipal Airport (SCA) to 11th Avenue in south Sidney. The highway shifted onto Fort Storey Road from 11th Avenue to meet U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway) at a two-wye intersection.
