After departing from U.S. 101 in Leggett, southbound California 1 immediately meets California 271, which is the former alignment of U.S. 101. Follow California 271 south to downtown Leggett and to the Drive-Thru Tree. Continue straight ahead to follow California 1 south to Fort Bragg and the Mendocino Coast. Photo taken 05/29/06.
