That's lame, doesn't necessarily have to be limited to politics.  Some of the minor things that bothered me around Florida.

-  The speed trap drop of speed limits approaching traffic lights on surface expressways.
-  The timing of the traffic lights seemingly being maximized to inconvenience everyone.
-  Having no real street grid in Orlando and having to deal with commuters on neighbor streets.
-  The influx of extra people petty much everywhere during Snowbird season.  Crowds and additional slower RV traffic isn't my bag (to be fair it wasn't in Arizona either).
-  Being charge of hurricane preparedness and having to monitor the weather constantly from June through October.
-  Just boredom in general.  There wasn't exactly much in the way of terrain variation.  If you don't like water then the only option you got is hiking out in swampy areas.

You pull into a space and viola! You're car hits them. You can't really see them so you don't expect them but think you have another two feet to the curb to pull up.  Ugggh!

How do you not see them?

If you're in a car sometimes it is hard to judge if the front bumper might scrape on them.

This seems to be one of those things where after the first time, you should know. My previous car was low enough where I often stopped before the bumper. My current vehicle is a bit higher.

Is this also the excuse why people roll past the stop bar and have their front end blocking the pedestrian crosswalk, because they lost all comprehension of where to stop the moment the line is out of view?

I think for me more of the issue is that the crosswalk is often too far back to see if I have a clearing to make a right hand turn.  The one on southbound Fowler Avenue  at Jensen Avenue is like that.  I creep over that crosswalk all the time because I need to see if there is oncoming 65 MPH expressway traffic.

Regarding the parking spaces.  I've found that chocks are often poorly placed even for compact vehicles.  There are plenty of compact spaces at my gym that my Corolla won't fit into unless I pull slightly over the chock.  Fortunately those chocks are low in height.

I lived on the Sun Coast for quite awhile.  That region was about as uninhabited as could be north of Spring Hill.

Did Campbell's quit making them, or did your retailer just quit carrying them? For me, I get aggravated when an item I buy frequently disappears from the shelves at the store(s) I frequent, but I know it's still available.

I'm mostly thinking about the straight or left turners (when they can't LTOR) that pull up past the stop line for no good reason.  Right turns are generally unavoidable when making a RTOR.

The second one is the only one that shows up in the "microwavable bowl" category at all.  The first doesn't, but then, I don't buy an 8 pack either (and I've never seen them sold like that, so I can only assume that it's either an online thing or how they're shipped to the store).

Oddly enough, the smaller 7 oz was still available when I did my grocery shopping (probably because I've never seen the stock of those being anything but full, leading me to wonder if anyone actually buys them), but the 15 oz I need was gone.  If it turns out only the 7 oz was discontinued, it might be time to switch (back) to Hannaford for all my grocery needs.

I couldn't find any 15oz variety on the www.campbells.com website, so I suspect that's gone too.  Maybe where it says 7 oz, you used to be able to select a different size?  I don't know for sure, but I think they're both discontinued.

To me I miss the day you pop into your CD player and you just listen to an album you  like as an alternative to the radio.

CD players were not a great technology for cars.  Very vulnerable to bumps in the road, which not only made the CD skip but also cause wear on the disc.  If you buy music as a CD it's pretty easy to transfer it to digital format like mp3 and put it on a flash memory stick, which many car audio systems will play.

My mom was a Florida resident.  To that end she was a fierce opponent of certain political factions (perhaps too much so).  Point is that not everyone who lives is a card carrying Florida Man or really cares to bother anyone.

I moved in with my now wife during December 2017.  Since that time, I've had ten tires at one point or another that had nails in them (today was the tenth).  Out of those ten only twice has the nail ended up in the sidewall (including today) which necessitated replacement of a tire.  I'm not really clear on why there is so many nails and screw floating around where I live, but I've never had a like volume anywhere else I've lived.  My wife has had four nails on tires in her car during the same time interval.

Does your wife work in the real estate business? A couple of realtors I know have commented on how they get more flat tires than most of their friends because their work often takes them into neighborhoods that are still under construction where there is more debris around.

That's the most common tire to have a puncture in.  Screws typically end up pointy side down, and they also typically end up closer to the edge of the road due to the slope of the pavement.  So, when your right front tire runs over it, it doesn't get punctured.  But it might just kick that screw up as it rolls over it, and then the screw just might be pointy side up when your right rear tire runs over it a split-second later.

I never had issues with them. Only once in Dodge City, Kansas I hit a rough grade crossing hard and the music stopped until the player caught up.  The reason why the bumps caused all memories to be used up as usually the memories compensate for the temporary loss of music when the laser gets pushed away.

I never had any skipping unless the CD itself got damaged. Never from bumps and pot holes.

Maybe you waited a while to have a CD player in your car then, since the early iterations had lots of problems with this.

No, but there are new neighborhoods which have been in the process of construction nearby.  They have been pretty much ongoing projects since I moved to where I am now.

I concur. I no longer have my 1988 RX-7, but its CD player was prone to skipping on bumpy roads, surely not helped by the fairly tightly sprung suspension. The CD player eventually stopped working some years before I sold it. I kind of miss the album that was stuck in the slot (the soundtrack to Almost Famous—good driving album).
