Eh, I think being right about playoff Chargers doesn't necessarily make the Pats legit. I still think they're out next round.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Any day the Bears beat the Packers is a great day for me, especially if it's in the playoffs.
Go Cubs Go! Go Cubs Go! Hey Chicago, what do you say? The Cubs are gonna win today!

And any day that Aaron Rodgers is sent packing, more than likely for good this time, is another great day.  :)

Right, that too, because no matter who Aaron Rodgers plays for, I still hate him for obvious reasons.

(Also, congrats to the Texans for making their first-ever Divisional Round!)

Dismal 2 for 6 this round but I still like my final four and Super Bowl picks to hold up.

Not surprised the Texans won, though 30-6 on the road is remarkable. Not looking forward to their visit to Foxborough this weekend.

Nice to go 6 for 6. Not very impressed by the Rams or Patriots though. Less confident about my picks in those games in this round.
Indiana: counties 100%, highways 100%
Illinois: counties 100%, highways 61%
Michigan: counties 100%, highways 56%
Wisconsin: counties 86%, highways 23%

Only missed CHI's miraculous comeback over the Packers to have gone perfect. I feel pretty good about getting the final four right based on this week's results.

I've said this locally many times, Rodgers should have retired when he left the Packers.

However, they have never gone beyond that round, the only team who hasn't.

So therefore (at the moment), 3 of the 4 teams in the AFC North are looking for new head coaches.

Meanwhile, most Bengals fans want to be the 4th!

I hope this is the year Josh Allen and the Bills go all the way with a Super Bowl win with no Patrick Mahomes in the playoffs.

Wow. This exact situation is probably the only scenario where both Harbaugh and Tomlin are out. I think Harbaugh keeps his job if the Ravens make the playoffs, even with a wild card loss.

Any chance of any in-division swaps? I could somehow see Stefanski ending up in Baltimore.

I am not liking my team's chances tomorrow afternoon at Foxborough:  only five days rest, back on cross-country flight to frigid conditions, history is not on our side – 1-6 on the road in the playoffs, 1-7 at Gillette Stadium (including a winless 0-2 vs the Patriots in the playoffs), and winless in the Divisional Round (tomorrow makes 0-7) – and to top it all off the game's X-Factor Stefon Diggs is out for revenge against his former team.  He knows everything about CJ's game....his tendencies and weaknesses, and you better believe he's shared that with his current team having played alongside him last year.

My prediction is New England 10 (an offensive TD + extra point + one FG), and Houston 9 (a defensive TD + extra point + safety).  My bold prediction is that the Texans hapless offense will fail to score a single point, opening the door for the Patriots to edge them out in a one-point win.

I'm starting to believe the NFL doesn't want to see the Texans in any AFC Championship Game.  After the game, our GM Nick Caserio and HC DeMeco Ryans are going to have some tough decisions to make:  continue with this offense core or rebuild a new offense which may take years?  Are they going to give CJ another chance?  He's still regressing, Nico is often injured, Tank Dell is likely done playing in the NFL, we lost Diggs, and Mixon....god only know what will happen to him.  A once promising offense looks to be shattered to pieces.  Okay, I'm done ranting.  I can only wish next year will bring better luck.

My god, you are depressing to read sometimes when it comes to your team.

I generally am not much better though to be fair it is hard not to be negative about the Packers' chances this year once Micah Parsons tore his ACL.

I'm not saying that I am all that positive myself, how can I be as a Lions fan?  All the same I feel like I'm downright happy go lucky when I hear this constant Texans doom and gloom.

From a Pats guy, don't give up hope. History was not on your side at Pittsburgh (23-game home winning streak on Monday night) but we know how that ended. It seemed like a close game until it suddenly was not. I still hope the Pats win, but the Texans defense has earned a lot of respect around the league.

I don't think the Texans will probably win in New England.  But they certainly don't have an impossible challenge ahead of them and it wouldn't even be that major of an upset.

From NBC Sports:

Packers-Bears wild-card game sets streaming record
QuoteIn picking Packers-Bears for Prime Video, the NFL knew exactly what it was doing.

The best matchup of the wild-card round became the most exciting of the six games, too. That propelled the contest to an all-time streaming record, with 31.61 million viewers.

The number represents a 43-percent bump over last year's Prime Video playoff game between the Steelers and the Ravens, which averaged 22.07 million viewers. It also broke the streaming record set by the Netflix Lions-Vikings game on Christmas Day, with 27.52 million.

Bear down, house money from here on out. Let's see how far they go

For the other games, I would like to see a Bills/Pats AFC title game with the Bills moving on. NFC I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch of 49ers/Bears.
The local weatherman, trust me I can be 99.9% right!
