Opened in 2001 and permanently closed in 2021, the Holy Land Experience was a theme park based upon the Bible. AdventHealth purchased the 14 acre site on August 2, 2021 at a cost of $32 million with plans to redevelop the property (FOX 35 Orlando, 2022). An emergency room, health park and inpatient tower will be constructed at the site starting in Fall 2022 (Silliman, 2021).
