I-4 Ultimate construction replaced the parclo B2 interchange at U.S. 17/92-SR 50 (Colonial Drive) with a SPUI. Renumbered from Exit 83 A to 84 B, the ramp for eastbound shifted south ahead of Amelia Street. Amelia Street is a major collector leading north of the Bob Carr Theatre.

I-4 elevates along a viaduct between Hughey Avenue south and Garland Avenue north to Lake Concord. Exit 83 A formerly departed here for SR 526 (Robinson Street). SR 526 crosses Downtown east to Lake Eola while leading west along Washington Street near Orlando City Stadium to OBT.

Interstate 4 crosses over Lake Ivanhoe ahead of Exit 85 with Princeton Street. A parclo A2 interchange (Exit 84) previously connected the freeway with Ivanhoe Boulevard here. The eastbound ramp to Ivanhoe Boulevard was eliminated due to limited space in the area to widen I-4.
